Adirondack International Speedway hooks up with ARP Bodies to Offer Hefty Contingency for Late Model Division
LOWVILLE – This past week the Adirondack International Speedway and ARP Bodies out of Greenbrier, TN entered into an agreement to serve a contingency award to a lucky ASA Challenger Late Model competitor in the 2008 season.
The contingency award, a $500 certificate towards any body kit through ARP Bodies will be awarded to the driver whom at the end of the year will receive the “Hard Luck Award” at the 2008 Season Awards Banquet.
“We wanted to use the award in a different way this year,” stated Track Owner Paul Lyndaker. “Instead of giving it out to a winner of an event, or the champion persay, we will be awarding it to the driver who goes through the worst of times through the year.”
Given the fact that the Hard Luck Award usually comes after a long season of body repair and work, the ARP Bodies $500 certificate will be a perfect fit.
“We look at this program as being a key to helping racers across the country get out to the track and remain ambitious in achieving their goals,” stated ARP Bodies Marketing Director David Kamholtz. Additionally, Kamholtz expressed his interest in the Drivers of AIS, and the track as a whole, “Without drivers such as the ones at the Adirondack Speedway, none of us would be able to enjoy this sport. We’re excited in working with the great staff and drivers at the Adirondack Speedway and also becoming a part of the elusive history there.”

The season-ending award will be nomination based from the staff at the Speedway and will be chosen by vote from a select group of staff. In excitement of stepping up their contingency program, the Adirondack International Speedway is looking forward to their 7th Annual Season Opener on May 17th. The event will be a four-division “Renegade National Qualifier” show.
