DART Manufacturing to Sponsor Valuable Contingency Giveaways in the Adirondack International Speedway’s ASA Challenger Late Model Division

New Bremen, N.Y. – In what prospered from a meeting at the annual Gater Racing News Motorsports Expo in Syracuse, NY in early March, the Adirondack International Speedway (A.I.S.) has developed an incredible contingency sponsorship with Troy, MI based DART Manufacturing.

The sponsorship, in which will lie solely with the Speedways headline division of the ASA Challenger Late Models will be spread across four nights of competition. The premier block and cylinder head machining company will supply four different competitors with a set of heads to bring back to their trailer on the given night of racing. “This is a great opportunity for both DART to draw more competitors to their great product and an equally great opportunity for us to give back to the racer and create some hype in this division,” stated Speedway General Manager Billy Gibson.

The nights, scheduled for June 16th, June 30th, August 18th, and September 8th will provide DART give-a-ways for the fans as well. But on the drivers side of things, all the teams need to do is secure their DART decals from Gibson at the Speedway office and they will be eligible for the DART product. For the first date, Twin 25-lap features are on the docket and the winner of the product may very well not be the winner of either respected feature. “We are going to start it off in a unique way. The winner of the product will basically be the finisher that accumulates the most points within the two Twin 25 events. If it comes down to a tie we will take the driver that finished the highest in the second event,” said Gibson. For the rest of the events the first car across the finish line sporting a DART decal will be the winner of the product, however, competitors will be limited to winning once. “We want to give back to every racer in competition, but unfortunately that’s not possible so we’re going to limit this to one per driver.” If the driver that finishes on top already has won the product before then they will be ineligible for a second give-a-way. It will go to the next car back with a DART decal shown on their car.

DART, specializing in engine blocks, heads and manifolds is the acknowledged leader in producing race-winning components. Based in Troy, Michigan, DART continues to lead the market with a team of experienced and talented technicians, while still pushing the forefront of performance engine component design. With a commitment to total quality and performance, coupled with leading edge R&D facilities and first hand racing involvement DART remains the undisputed leader in aftermarket cylinder head and block design.             As the off-season work remains to be underway at the Speedway, more information on the DART Late Model giveaways can be found on the Speedway website at www.adirondackspeedway.com or by calling their office anytime during the week at (315) 346-RACE. While consistently labeled as the premier short-track racing facility in New York State, A.I.S. remains to build off years prior as they single themselves out with the best professional asphalt racing show in Northeast. Located along Artz Rd. in Lowville, NY, A.I.S. hosts ASA sanctioned racing every Saturday night through the summer.
