GotGoodCheese.com 500 Added to 2007 Schedule at Adirondack
NEW BREMEN (NY) – With official announcement released last week, the Adirondack International Speedway have begun to put the pieces together for the first annual “GotGoodCheese.com 500.” Backed by the Lowville Producers Dairy Cooperative and GotGoodCheese.com, the enticing event will be for the Speedway ’s True Stock division.
After just six events have been presently completed at the Speedway , a total of 24 cars have entered competition in the division thus far. The event is expected to draw even more for its August 4th date.
“With some of the other divisions having their showcase event, we felt it would be neat to put something together for the True Stocks,” quoted GotGoodCheese.com Representative; Kent Widrick. With over 20 co-sponsors on board, made up of North Country Agri-businesses, the event will be a “Salute to the North Country Dairy Industry”. “It’s a great way to help promote and give recognition to the economic impact that the Dairy Industry has in the North Country. In Lewis County alone that impact is well over $ 150 million dollars annually " stated Widrick. We also thought it would be nice to reward the True Stock teams for the great show they have been putting on each week and for the increase in our business that we've seen as a result of sponsoring this race division.
In a 30-lap contest, the event will pay a bold $500-to-win and will officially be the largest payout purse of its kind for the GotGoodCheese.com True Stock division. The event will start a total of 24 cars.
While the rules for this event are being decided, an official payout structure is viewable on the Adirondack International Speedway website at www.adirondackspeedway.com.
