2007
Adirondack International Speedway Trailer Race Rules
- #1 Rule is to HAVE
FUN with this, and to keep it safe!
- Any car, small van,
or small pickup truck (non-4x4) towing a travel trailer (camper), pop-up
camper, or boat. Pop-up campers must be in fully extended position in order
to compete.
- Tow vehicle –
Shoulder and lap belt must be fully functional. All side glass must be
removed, windshield can remain intact only with protective screen overtop.
Window net must be added on driver side. Front bumpers may be reinforced,
however no sharp objects
- Boats must be secured
to trailer and tow vehicle. Trailer must be secured to tow vehicle with
breakaway chains or cables. (maximum trailer length of 24’) No pointed bows.
Two or four wheel axle trailers are permitted.
- Trailers cannot be
rigged to self-destruct leaving only frame to continue racing.
- Campers must be fully
gutted (including insulation). All appliances and heating/cooling units must
be removed, glass must be removed. All trailers must be completely cleaned
out including but not limited too mirrors, pots, pans, silverware, trash,
etc. All fluids must be drained from trailer.
- Boats must be gutted,
no motors, fuel tanks, out drives allowed
- Skid plates
underneath axles, spring shackles, and shock mounts are recommended to save
from damage to track surface.
- No vehicle-to-vehicle
hits, must hit the trailer. Absolutely no driver door hits. Drivers will be
DQ’ed immediately for vehicle-to-vehicle hits.
- Each trailer will be
judged for its starting spot. The better it looks helps grant that team the
number one starting spot in front.
- All competitors must
be ages 16 or older with valid drivers license.
- Full-face helmets,
long sleeve pants & shirts, and gloves mandatory. Flame retardant suit,
neckbrace, approved racing shoes recommended.
- Must have a trailer
with wheels to become winner (flats will be ignored until sparks start, then
you will be black flagged) Trailer tires maximum size of 15”. No studded, or
chained tires.
- Winner will be last
trailer with wheels. In a draw, the winner will be determined by fan
applaud.

Must be pre-registered by
October 20th in order to compete.
There will be an minimal
raceday entry fee, which is 100% payback to the purse with a bonus to the
winner.
All vehicles must be removed
from the grounds the following Monday or they will be scraped.

Adirondack International Speedway
Four-Cylinder Enduro Rules
- #1 Rule is to HAVE
FUN with this, and to keep it safe!
- Any four cylinder
compact car. No rotary engines allowed. NO turbos, or supercharged engines.
- Stock engine for that
make and model from the air cleaner to the exhaust manifold, stock
transmission, stock body, frame, and unmodified suspension.
- Remove all burnable
interior, dash is optional. All insulation under hood must be removed.
- Sunroof openings must
be sealed off with securely mounted steel.
- No mirrors allowed.
- All glass, except
windshield (optional) must be removed. All broken glass must be removed from
interior of car. If windshield is cracked it must be replaced. If
replacement is screen or lexan, must have three 3/8” minimum support braces.
Window net must be added to drivers side only.
- A simple hoop bar
behind the seat must be used. Hoop bar must be reinforced with two down bars
(connecting at at least 2/3rds of the way up the hoop. for added stability
and must be full height and width of car. Four pt. cages or other frame and
body supports are highly recommended but not mandatory.
- Doors must be welded
chained or bolted shut. Drivers side door must be protected. The minimum
allowable protection is a 5 foot long piece of 1/8” inch steel plate 6” wide
(minimum) welded to the outside of the drivers door and two bars inside that
extended from hoop bar to a separate bar mounted to frame behind left front
tire.
- Must have four wheel
functioning brakes. Cars without adequate brakes will not be allowed to
compete.
- Passenger tires only.
Wheels must be of like size. No studded tires or chains.
- Bumpers must be
chained, welded, or cabled to the frame. Dragging bumpers will result in
disqualification.
- Battery may be
relocated outside of drivers compartment only. Must be secured and boxed.
- Gas tanks – If gas
tank is ahead of rear axle it may remain in place. If gas tank is behind
rear axle or outside frame rails it must be replaced with a fuel cell or
boat tank. Fuel cell/bot tank must be secured by minimum 1/8” x 1” steel
strap with minimum 3/8” hardware with large head washers and mounted in
trunk. Trunk firewall must be sealed off. No plastic tanks.
- Full-face helmets,
long sleeve pants & shirts, and gloves mandatory. Flame retardant suit,
neckbrace, approved racing shoes recommended.
- All safety equipment
must be used. Seat belt with shoulder strap, and full-face helmet must be
used.
- Drivers must be at
least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license. Competitors under the
age of 18 must bring waiver of release form from parent or guardian. Forms
are available at the Speedway office (315) 346-RACE.

- 4-Cylinder vehicles
may pull 4, 6, or 8-cylinder vehicle. 6-cylinder vehicle may pull 6 or
8-cylinder vehicle. 8-cylinder vehicles must pull 8-cylinder vehicle.
- Lead vehicle –
pulling car, motor runs, no brakes.
- Trailing vehicle –
engine may run for braking purposes, but no drive shaft.
- Chain only may be
used to secure vehicles. Must be securely chained to bumper. If vehicles
become unattached they will be disqualified. Recommended chain length is 18”
between cars.
- Windshield may remain
intact, if cracked it must be replaced. If replacement is lexan or screen,
it must be reinforced with 3- 3/8” minimum support braces. All glass (except
for windshield), and all headlights, taillights, moldings, grill, etc. must
be removed.
- No anti-freeze in
radiators.
- Stock engine for that
make and model from the air cleaner to the exhaust manifold, stock
transmission, stock body, frame, and unmodified suspension.
- Remove all burnable

be sealed off with securely mounted steel.

passenger side front seats both must be securely fastened to floor. Lap belt
on passenger side must be connected and locked in place. Drivers will use
the lap belt on passenger side for additional security when upside down. Any
additional straps for safety in time of rollover are highly recommended.

Replacement of drivers seat with approved racing seat with multi-point
harness is highly recommended.
- All safety equipment
must be used. Seat belt with shoulder strap must be in working and good
condition.
- Drivers must be at
least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license. Competitors under the
age of 18 must bring waiver of release form from parent or guardian. Forms
are available at the Speedway office (315) 346-RACE.
