In
the 2007 season, Adirondack's Billy
Gibson and Webb Foote from Watertown's
Froggy 97 teamed up to offer the first
radio show devoted to the Adirondack
International Speedway. The show, named
"Hot Laps", aired on Tuesday nights at
5pm, and was a hour-long report of
everything A.I.S., heard on the leading
AM sports radio station in the area,
ESPN - WNER 1410am. The show was
accepted with great reviews both from
the Adirondack faithful and those
listening in that had never been to the
Speedway.
As
the 2007 season has come to an end, the
show has been put on hold until 2008.
Currently, as Webb has gotten tired of
Billy's stupid laugh and dim-witted
information, he has decided to opt out
of the show for next season.
The
Speedway has decided they will still air
the show, however a co-host will be
needed to assist Billy in the process.
If you are a racing enthusiast,
interested in the Adirondack
International Speedway and you are
interested in gaining great experience
behind the mic, please contact Billy by
