RULES/COMPETITORS NOTICE

RE: Light Truck Division

Point of Interest: Final Drive Ratios

This document is a rules clarification/competitors notice directed to all Light Truck teams competing at the Adirondack International Speedway.

As shown in rule C under “Rearends, Transmissions, Clutches, Flywheels:”

The correct rear end and final drive ratios for the year, make and model of truck must be mounted in stock location.

While NO four-wheel drive trucks are permitted in competition, and only rear-wheel drive trucks are allowed; final drive ratios found “stock” in a four-wheel drive vehicle may not be used in Light Truck competition unless the said final drive ratio was available in the year, make, and model of the competing two-wheel/rear-wheel drive truck. If a said part is in question by tech officials, it is up to the competitor to show proper documentation at time of inspection, stating the legality of the part in question.

Any competitor found with improper gear ratio in their Light Truck will be disqualified and will forfeit all points and money earned during feature competition.
